Meet the owner
As the owner of Prose Consulting and a freelance writer and editor, my experience spans all aspects of publishing and business communications including website content, technical writing, marketing communications and academic editing.
Blending this with my background in finance, I bring a unique fusion of analytical acumen and creative proficiency to every project. With experience across diverse roles from editor and content manager for nonprofit organisations and small businesses, to manuscript editing for both fiction and nonfiction books, as well as providing technical writing support for tender bids – if it requires a word-nerd, I can do it!
I work with tertiary institutions and researchers, providing copyediting and proofreading services for academic journals, articles and research projects as well as providing thesis manuscript editing for PhD, Master’s and Honours students. My specialisation is within the disciplines of business, arts and education but I cover all areas of academic study.
My approach allows me to get to the heart of each client’s unique vision ensuring clarity, precision and an engaging narrative, no matter the context. My critical attention to detail, and ability to distil complex ideas into accessible language is an essential part of my communication style, adding value where it is needed most.
